By accessing and using LabVerse at learnmlt.netlify.app (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the Platform. These terms apply to all visitors and users of the Platform.

2. About LabVerse

LabVerse is a free, non-commercial educational platform providing Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) learning materials, including lesson content, quizzes, flashcards, and clinical case studies. The Platform is created and maintained by Jose Gill and is provided without charge to MLT students worldwide.

3. Educational Purpose Only

Reference values, procedures, and clinical information provided on LabVerse are sourced from standard textbooks and educational materials. They may not reflect the most current clinical guidelines or your laboratory's specific validated reference ranges. Laboratory reference intervals vary between institutions and must be established locally.

4. Permitted Use

You are permitted to:

• ✅ Share links to LabVerse with fellow students, educators, and colleagues
• ✅ Use the Platform on any personal device
• ✅ Print individual lesson pages for personal study use
• ✅ Recommend LabVerse to your institution, college, or university

5. Prohibited Use

You are not permitted to:

• 🚫 Copy, reproduce, or republish LabVerse content on any other website or platform without written permission
• 🚫 Sell, sublicense, or commercially exploit any part of the Platform or its content
• 🚫 Modify, adapt, or create derivative works from LabVerse content for redistribution
• 🚫 Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to extract content from the Platform
• 🚫 Misrepresent content from LabVerse as your own original work
• 🚫 Use the Platform in any way that could harm, disrupt, or interfere with its operation
• 🚫 Use quiz or assessment results from LabVerse as official certification or qualification evidence

6. Intellectual Property

All content on LabVerse — including lesson text, quiz questions, flashcard content, case studies, competency checklists, design, and code — is the intellectual property of Jose Gill and is protected by applicable copyright law.

Lesson content is based on and adapted from standard Medical Laboratory Technology educational materials including but not limited to established textbooks, CLSI guidelines, and academic curriculum materials. Educational use of such content for non-commercial purposes is made in good faith.

7. Accuracy of Content

We make every reasonable effort to ensure that the educational content on LabVerse is accurate, current, and consistent with standard MLT curriculum and established laboratory practice. However:

• Content may not reflect the most recent updates to clinical guidelines or laboratory standards
• Reference ranges are indicative only and must be verified against your laboratory's established intervals
• Procedural descriptions are for educational purposes and may differ from your institution's SOPs

8. Availability

LabVerse is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be available at all times, error-free, or uninterrupted. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Platform at any time without notice.

Progress and bookmarks saved in your browser's localStorage may be lost if you clear your browser data. We recommend periodically noting your progress independently.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jose Gill and LabVerse shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the Platform or its content, including but not limited to:

• Reliance on any content for clinical or professional decisions
• Loss of study progress or bookmarks due to browser data clearance
• Temporary or permanent unavailability of the Platform
• Any inaccuracies in educational content

LabVerse may contain links to external websites or resources for reference purposes. We have no control over the content, availability, or privacy practices of external websites and are not responsible for any content found on them. Linking to an external site does not constitute endorsement of that site or its content.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from the use of LabVerse shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the applicable jurisdiction.

Continued use of the Platform after changes have been posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.
